GC 60th Birthday Celebration
Vibes@Roundabout Info [Mon 23 Sep)
Monday 23rd September is expected to be a holiday, so our kick off event will start at 3pm.
There will be diverse snacks and assorted refreshments on offer, and some special activities to get the reunion warmed up. The location of our exclusive event venue is 16 Kente Mbli Street. More info soon…
Info on Safari Valley trip [Tue 24 Sep]
As mentioned previously, we will gather at the Legon Stadium at 7:30, and leave our cars there (University security will watch over our cars whilst we are away). It will be an active day, so footwear choices should reflect that (trainers are recommended). We will have more energetic activities before lunch, and more laid back pursuits after eating. We plan to leave in the early evening to be back at Legon before nightfall. So it will essentially be a whole day affair.
Info on trip to Remar Orphanage [Thu 26 Sep]
Three weeks from now, a team of us (24 of us have registered) will visit the Remar Orphanage at Nsawam. The plan is to meet at the Legon Stadium at 8.30am and set off to Nsawam by bus. Parking for our cars has been arranged at the Stadium, and the University security will look after our cars in our absence. We expect to be back by 2pm or so, and may proceed to the Basement at Legon for lunch (at our own individual cost).
Please keep the donations coming – we are expecting that there will also be a surplus from the Freewill Contributions to ensure that we have a good donation for both Remar Orphanage and the POWERAID scholarship fund. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
