About OAA80 Year Group
Mission Statement
- To foster and promote friendship and unity among Year Group Members.
- To organize activities for the educational, social and intellectual development of Year Group Members.
- To provide support to members in times of need.
- To organize activities for the purposes of assisting Achimota Secondary School (“the School”) in all aspects.
- To promote the maintenance of interest of Year Group Members in the School
- To help promote the ideals for which the School was founded.
Welfare Fund
The Welfare Fund was set up in April 2018 to provide suitable support for members during bereavements, convalescence, weddings and christenings in the short, medium and long term and to ensure that we support each other and also engage in collective decision making processes, regarding our welfare. Since it’s inception, support has been provided to 25 Members to date.
benevolent fund
A new fund named Benevolent Fund was set up in February 2019 to address the specific aim of support for our fellow colleagues who seem to be going through difficult times due to financial, emotional, health etc problems.
